Nuri Özaltın Primary School – Solhan, Bingöl

As part of our commitment to social responsibility and sustainable development, the renovation of Murat Primary School in the Solhan district of Bingöl has been completed by our subsidiary Kalehan Genç Enerji Üretim A.Ş. and officially handed over to the Ministry of National Education. The renewed school now carries the name of our late founder and continues to serve the community as Nuri Özaltın Primary School.

The project, completed in July 2021, transformed a previously limited facility — once housing only two classrooms and outdoor restrooms — into a fully modern educational complex. The new school building now includes four classrooms, a library, a multipurpose hall, an art and music room, a science laboratory, and a cafeteria. In addition, dedicated administrative spaces such as a teachers’ lounge, a principal’s office, and support areas have been incorporated into the design.

To encourage physical activity and overall well-being, a basketball court was constructed in the schoolyard. Adjacent to the school, a staff housing building with two 1+1 apartments was also built to provide accommodation for teachers.
