Concession
A concession is an instrument for long-term collaboration and association between the government and the private sector in order to execute certain infrastructure projects. By means of a concession, the government grants a right to a private company to design, build, renovate, finance, manage or maintain an infrastructure project, and to provide a service for a specific period of time in exchange for a financial consideration provided by the government itself or the end users.
At present, Özaltın manages a portfolio of 10 concession projects in the sector of transportation and energy in Turkey.
