Design and Execution of Deviation Works on the Brașov – Târgu Mureș – Cluj – Oradea Highway
Undertaken by the Özaltın-Ilgaz-Visio Joint Venture, this project covers a key section of the A3 Motorway, which extends across northwestern Romania. The works in the Nădășelu–Mihaesti section hold strategic importance within the Brașov – Târgu Mureș – Cluj – Oradea corridor of the A3 Motorway.
With a design period of 9 months and a construction period of 18 months, the project’s first section includes a 1,214-meter bridge and a 780-meter road segment, while the second section comprises a 1,990-meter bridge and a 1,500-meter road segment. In the first section, a 266-meter portion of the bridge is designed as a balanced cantilever bridge.
