    Located within the Antakya and Defne districts of Hatay Province, the Hatay Asi River Flood Protection Project aims to mitigate flood risks and enhance the visual character of the city center. The project involves 10,140 meters of river rehabilitation works carried out on both sides of the Asi River, where increased discharge and seasonal rainfall have historically caused flooding.
