Malatya City Center Drinking Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project
Project’s Overview
In May 2025, Özaltın signed the contract for the Malatya City Center Drinking Water Infrastructure Rehabilitation Project, aimed at restoring and strengthening the city's drinking water infrastructure following the February 6th earthquakes.
The project includes the rehabilitation of approximately 78 kilometers of drinking water transmission pipelines, the construction of two new water storage reservoirs with a capacity of 1,000 tons each, and the rehabilitation of 20 existing water storage reservoirs located in the Malatya and Elazığ regions.
Upon completion, the project will improve the reliability and resilience of the regional drinking water network, contributing to the long-term recovery and sustainability of the affected communities.
